My extensive publishing experience spans fashion, food, home and garden, entertaining, celebrity, travel, fitness, and health.

Working with prominent brands such as Men’s Health, Out Magazine, Smart Luxury Travel, Midwest Home, Taste Magazine, Better Homes and Gardens, Williams Sonoma Books, The Body Shop Books, and Drinks Magazine, I’ve honed my skills in photo direction and creative storytelling.

Fashion: In fashion publishing, I actively participated in all stages of photoshoots. During pre-production, I collaborated with photo directors to select photographers, models, and locations, while guiding fashion stylists on wardrobe and model choices. Travel: As Creative Director at Sherman’s Travel, I overcame budget constraints by transitioning from stock photography to in-house shoots. By creatively engaging photographers, we cut the budget in half while producing high-quality, original imagery. One standout project was the Smart Luxury Travel Awards cover shoot, where I collaborated with an illustrator to design unique, hand-painted backdrops paired with minimal props and models to craft a striking visual narrative.

Outcomes:

  • Successfully elevated visual storytelling across diverse genres, engaging audiences and enhancing brand identity.

  • Reduced production costs by transitioning to in-house photography while maintaining high creative standards.
